When I could barely sit down to write, I did sit down to see if people visited my blog. It turned out people did, and in one case in droves for a post I wrote about RDA resources. Some people come for the pop culture posts, some for the running, and some for the reading. In Blog-land they ask you to pick a focus, find a demographic, and write for them. I forgot I wrote mostly for myself with people coming along for the ride.
I went back to the ‘elevator quote’ on my blog, and re-wrote it to say what I want to do. If this blog combines parts of a reference desk, some reflection, and geeky tidbits then it’s like a public library in my head. Plus it’s my show and my time.
So over the next little while don’t be surprised if a ‘few small repairs’ begin to appear.
