I said good-bye to 2016 with V, her parent’s dog, nibbles, and cans of Sumol, a Portuguese soda. After a post bordering on the morose on the 31st, I figured the Music Monday selection needed some pep. Enter MØ, a singer out of Denmark, found courtesy of a Spotify playlist with happy songs. The song can compliment any playlist for the gym or while running the snow-packed sidewalks outside.
As for the name, she’s Danish from the land of Vikings and Mads Mikkelsen. I had to copy and paste her name rather than change my keyboard status from English to Danish. As for pronouncing it, this short video gives the correct pronunciation although the Aussie DJ can cease and desist with how he does it. Looks like the Danes are ready to lap the Swedes in the pop music arena.
