The first day of summer came in typical Winnipeg fashion. In other words, the weather was crappy and not matching up with the first day of anything. It felt more like the first day of fall than summer with the overcast sky squeezing every last raindrop throughout the day. The English would call it Wednesday.
After a few days of overcast skies, below average temperatures, things appear to settle down to some summer semblance. Why not a little music to match the season? As summer songs go, this one has this mellow tune you just want to blast at full volume. That and you want to sing along, heads bopping, the umbrellas only used as a form of shade.
Dig those mutton chops!
